cutout people – greenscreen volume 2

There is not too much to say about these folks … It’s the second set of the greenscreenpeople Vol. 1  we posted recently. Since we are doing visuals for architects ourselves, we know you can’t have enough of good cutouts to fit them into your 3d.  This set has mostly a different light-angle than the first one, so it should be fairly supplementary. Hope you find this useful and we are already looking forward to see us turning up on some visuals sooner or later …

Please do remember to read the disclaimer.

Thanks again to Daniel Linder from imagonauten for his support.

Cheers, team xoio

Get the set following the link provided.

P.S.: The third and last set is mostly done and should come up when spring breaks. I guess by then you really had enough of our faces … ;)

hei, sorry if i´m asking something wrong, but, where is te images with the cutouts? Need I open in a photo editor and cut or i´m doing it wrong? tks,,,

If you open them in PS, then you should get all the layers in the .tif. Might be that other software will flatten the image. The tif was the best choice to keep the images small, you see!

Thank you so much for the wonderful cutouts. They are amazing. However I am a bit confused. The images aren't cutout. They aren't even layered. I use Paint Shop Pro X3. In the past a .tif file has usually stored an alpha channel, to cut the image from the background. That's not the case here. There are no alpha channels. In greenscreen volume 1, there were two images that had the alpha channels and I was able to cut those from the background with ease. All the rest dosen't. Am I doing something wrong? I have searched high and low for good cutout people. I really would love to have these. Thanxs again.

These are cutouts, really! They come as layered tiffs. Might be that paintshop does not recognize this. (The tiffs were half the size than the PSDs, so we decided for that format!

You can use to your liking, they are free to use as long as you don't do any weird stuff with it ... there is a disclaimer coming along that shows what you can do!

I suspect/bet Photoshop is frustrating other bitmap editors by not allowing them to be open correctly. A Gimp user.
  • JoeDoe
Yep, the images doesn´t show any layers in Corel Photo Paint X4 either :(
    • peter.stulz
Sorry for this issue, but as already stated the tiffs compress better, that's why we chose that format. If you are using GIMP maybe this might help: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=335975#c14

I understand why you are doing and thank you very much for the effort of uploading all this free resources. The problem is Tiff is an Adobe format and only works 100% correctly with PS. Even psd files work better with other programs. I understand that is more convenient for you to upload in this format, I didn´t mean it like a reprimand ;) Thanks again :)

Hey guys, your cutouts are greatly appreciated, just remember it's going to be difficult placing 10 copies of the same people in one image... so... if possible, if you're going to photograph and cutout people, if by any means possible, mix it up a little... different pple would be nice(r) grts - again: lots of good stuff here <3
